38 Weeks Pregnant | La Union Corn Maze | El Paso Photographer

HOLY. MOLY. I am 38 weeks and 6 days pregnant. Everyone around me didn’t think I would make it this far because Eli was born 38 weeks and 4 days. Heck.. Everyone swore I would give birth right after our Disneyland trip but NOPE. I haven’t had any contractions yet. Just the usual braxton hicks. Every now and then I get a really strong one. I’ve been at “barely” 1 cm for the last two weeks. I get an ultrasound and NST tomorrow to make sure Baby DelaFuente is doing great. Everything is prepped and ready for him. My bag, Eli’s bag, his nursery, the clean house, etc.

We’ve been making plans like normal but Uli or I will add “if we haven’t had the baby by then”. Let’s go to the corn maze on Saturday, unless the baby decides to make an appearance. 😉 We’ve been trying to soak up these last few days/weeks? with Eli before his brother is born. I’ve been really wanting to take him to the corn maze and we thought Saturday was the perfect day.

We decided to go when they opened up (11:00 am). We didn’t want to deal with the crazy lines in the evening. It had its pros and cons. First off, buy your tickets online! We had no line and were able to get our wristbands immediately. There was no food line! They had nachos, hot dogs, turkey legs, roasted corn, ribbon fries, churros, and all kinds of snacks. If we would have gone in the evening, the lines would have been soooo long! There were no lines for the kids activities! The slides, jumping balloons, kids tractor ride, pumpkin patch, etc. So basically, there were no lines for anything!

Cons? IT. WAS. HOT. Like how can it be 85 degrees in October!? I was dying from the heat. Eli and I got sunburned. I lathered him up in sunscreen like 3 times in the 2.5 hours we were there.

We went with my sister Allison, our two nieces, friend Paulina and her daughter.

Eli could ride this slide over and over again. He may have cried when we told him it was time to do something else.

Eli loved this tractor ride but he also held on the entire time!

I don’t even know what to call this.. bouncy horse? haha that’s what Eli called it! It was pretty cool because the entire horse was made of a tire.

At this point, I was done. My sister and them decided they were going to do the maze. I knew there was no way I could do the maze so we decided to head to the pumpkin patch so Eli could pick out his pumpkin.

Eli is learning to “fake” smile when we ask him to say cheese. Looooook at those little teeth come in!

Eli wanted to be strong like his “dada” so he tried picking up the big white pumpkin.

Dress: PinkBlush

Eli finally found the pumpkin he wanted!

Guys, dressing this bump is getting harder and harder. Uli’s shirts aren’t fitting me anymore. When I saw this Camel Button Pocket Front Maternity Midi Dress, I had to have it! It screams fall. It falls below the knees which is perfect because I don’t have to worry about the fabric rising up. It’s also nursing friendly! You can find this Maternity Dress at PinkBlush.
