28 Weeks Pregnant | Baby DelaFuente | El Paso Photographer

It was 105 degrees. It should be illegal for women to be pregnant in the summer. When I was pregnant with Eli during Summer 2016, I didn’t mind the heat. In fact, I LOVED it. I used to be a very cold person. I always carried a cardigan/sweater for me because I was always freezing. Well.. all that changed when Eli was born. I am constantly hot. I swear I sweat liked a pig. How attractive, huh? Being pregnant this time around, I am miserable. All I need is a cup full of crushed ice and clothing to keep me cool to keep me happy. I am in this point of pregnancy where I don’t want to wear jeans, leggings, or even shorts. All I want to wear is dresses. Dresses are so comfortable for me and I don’t have to to tug the material around my belly. Admit it.. You’ve done it before. I discovered PinkBlush and they have maternity dresses, tops, bottoms, swimwear, etc.

I fell in love with this Navy Blue Striped Ruffle Off Shoulder Maternity Dress. The fabric is soft and breathable. It doesn’t make me hot! It can be worn after pregnancy too! Another plus! I was able to play with Eliseo at the splash pad while wearing this dress which makes it practical. We all know that if you have a toddler, you have to be wearing something that will allow you to chase them down. At least if you have a toddler like mine. He’s always on the move.  I love that you can add some heels and some jewelry to dress it up.

Eli wasn’t sure about the splash pad at first.

After a few attempts, he finally realized that he loved it.

28 week bump update:
I’ve gained 10 pounds so far. I have the worst acid reflux/heartburn and it’s way worse than it was with Eliseo. It hits me as soon as I eat anything. Biggest craving this month is avocado toast. I can’t get enough of it. .  I may have had it for breakfast AND lunch two days in a row.I also have to have my water ice cold with lots of crushed ice. Baby DelaFuente is always on the move. I swear he’s having a dance party. Again, I swear he moves way more than Eli did and he MOVED A LOT. We had our 28 ultrasound on Monday. He is measuring a week and 4 days ahead. AHEM *insert eyeroll*… that’s why I look so big. The ultrasound tech said he weighs about 3 pounds 1 oz. HOLY MOLY. I have a themed picked out for his nursery. Stayed tuned for that reveal!

He looks just like Eliseo. Give me all the heart eyes!
