36 Weeks Pregnant | Last Vacation as Family of 3 | Anaheim California Photographer

Traveling 36 weeks pregnant!? SAY WHATTTTTT!?!? Yep. This trip had been planned for months. Farmers Insurance has these achievement clubs each year and we’ve been fortunate  to travel to Boston, Las Vegas, Seattle, Calgary, Savannah, Keystone, San Fransisco, Chicago, and San Antonio. When I say fortunate, I really mean, my husband is this AMAZING HARD WORKER. This year, Farmers Insurance was celebrating their 90th anniversary. What better way to celebrate it than Disneyland!?

There was NO WAY I was going to let Eli and Uli miss this trip. I had always said, if everything went well with this pregnancy, I would tag along but if somehow I would have to stay behind, I would! We had an appointment the Monday before we left (we were flying out Friday). I had an ultrasound and everything looked good!

The next challenge was hiding the baby bump. So there are restrictions when it comes to flying pregnant. Southwest allows you to fly until you are 38 weeks pregnant. Although I am 36 weeks, I did not want to get questioned. According to some people, I am HUGE. *insert eye roll* So I wore some jeans, a baggy shirt and a large sweater. I also carried Eli’s backpack in front of my belly so you couldn’t even tell I was pregnant. If you have an active toddler like mine, I HIGHLY suggest bringing the car seat on the airplane. We had a flight in July where he had his own seat and he hated the seatbelt. He wanted to stand on the seat and try to walk around. This time around, we used the car seat and he thought it was like a car ride. We had a bunch of activities (ipad for puzzles/movies, stickers, coloring books, and his cars).

When we showed up to the Paradise Pier Hotel, Minnie and Daisy were in the lobby. Eli wasn’t too sure about them. He may have cried a little bit after the picture was taken.

We had lunch at the hotel,  went back to the room and took some an awesome 3 hour nap. Then we went to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory.

My shirt is from PinkBlush. It’s the Grey Striped Crisscross Back Peplum Maternity Top and it is SOOOO SOFT. You can find it in the Maternity Top  section.

At this point, we thought Eli might have been coming down with something. Eli and I had shared a bed. He moves so much that I’m afraid he will fall off. Even with some pillow barricades, he manages to sleep over those. Anyways, he felt warm throughout the night but I shrugged it off because he’s usually a warm person. I call him my little space heater. At breakfast, he felt warmer than usual. He then decided to skip breakfast which is not like him. At the end of breakfast, he told me “stomach hurt”. We took him to walgreen’s to get him some gatorade and tylenol. He perked up and we went back to the room to rest some before going to California Adventure.

We were at California Adventure for 4 hours. 3 hours were spent at Cars Land. We didn’t complain because Eli is OBSESSED with Cars. He was so happy to see Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater.

I’m going to keep bragging about PinkBlush. These Mustard Distressed Cropped Maternity Skinny Jeans were perfect for California Adventure. They weren’t hot and most maternity jean are too big for me. These felt like my regular skinny jeans.  You should check out their Maternity Jeans selection.

At this point, Eli skipped breakfast, lunch and now dinner. He loves french fries so when we ordered some and he refused them, we knew something was wrong.  We offered him everything. We even bought him some ice cream just to fill him up with some calories. He took 3 bites and didn’t want anymore. We walked around for another 30 minutes and then we decided to head back to the hotel.

Sunday, we went to Knotts Berry Farm and the Farmers Festival

The only thing Eli ate this day were tortilla chips and guacamole. This required an outfit change. Notice the McQueen shirt.

Farmers Festival had 20 food trucks, music, drinks, and activities for the children. Chaotic is an understatement. There were SO. MANY. FARMERS. AGENTS. AND. THEIR. FAMILIES.

Monday was the 90th Anniversary Jubilee at Disneyland. We were allowed in the park at 4:00 p.m. and then they were shutting down the park from 8:00p.m. to 1:00am for Farmers. It was the coolest thing ever. Free food, free drinks, and NO LINES! Did I mention, they had Carrie Underwood to preform for us!?

We finally decided to head back to the hotel around midnight. We all finally went to sleep around 1:00 am but guess who was up and ready to go at 6:30 a.m.? I’ll give you one hint.. he’s got a full head of curly hair hahaha

Our last day full day (Tuesday) was spent at Huntington Beach and the Aquarium of the Pacific. Eli loved the aquarium so much. Every exhibit we went to, he kept asking where Nemo was.

With this being our last vacation as a family of 3, we had so much fun! I will admit that I am exhausted. Although it’s been an uneventful pregnancy, it’s tough chasing a toddler around. With all the walking we did, everyone was surprised that I didn’t go into labor. I will say that every morning that I woke up on this trip, I’ve felt like I’ve been hit by a bus. I’m sore EVERYWHERE. I am sore in places that I didn’t know that could be sore. However, I wouldn’t have it any other way. It was all worth it to see Eli so excited to see his favorite characters, ride on the rides, and go crazy from the sweets he ate. Baby DelaFuente #2.. I think we are ready for you!
